College of Nursing Receives $100,000 Grant for Scholarships From the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has awarded the Rush University College of Nursing a $100,000 grant toward scholarships for the pre-licensure generalist entry master's program in nursing.

The program is designed for students with a non-nursing baccalaureate degree or higher. Students receive a generalist education in nursing at the graduate level, graduate with a master's degree and are eligible to apply for registered nurse licensure and clinical nurse leader certification.

U.S.News & World Report Ranks Rush Highly Among Elite Hospitals for Nursing and Pain Management

U.S.News & World Report magazine has ranked Rush among an elite group of hospitals in the country for both nursing care and pain management. In both categories, Rush placed in the top 10 percent out of the small group of hospitals that U.S.News & World Report rates the best in America in their annual evaluation. These rankings are posted on the usnews.com Web site.
