Nomination and Voting for the Distinguished Alumni Award

We encourage all alumni to nominate a fellow graduate worthy of distinction. Nominations received in the spring will be considered for the fall award of that same year. Nominees will be notified in writing and asked to send pertinent information to the Distinguished Alumni Award Committee, chaired by Carol J. Farran, DNSc, RN, FAAN, Rush 1985. The Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Nurses Alumni Association Board will review the committee’s recommendation and approve the final selection.

Nominees are reviewed on the following criteria:

• Professional Contributions
• Community Involvement
• Education
• Clinical Focus
• Unique Characteristics
• Alumni Activity
